Local Stakeholder Workshop at the Solovetsky Museum

Date Location Organiser
23 May 2019 Solovki Islands, Russia Adapt Northern Heritage

Adapt Northern Heritage will be making it's first trip to our Russian demonstration site!

We will be workshopping with our local stakeholders as part of our Russia case study visit. The 6 islands that make up Solovki are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been a base of monastic activity since the 15th Century.

Part of the visit will also endeavour to look in more detail at which specific historic place(s) of this important site will be used as a demonstration case study.

In addition to this first ever trip to our Russian demonstration site, we will also be undertaking seminars in conjunction with our Project partners at Northern (Arctic) Federal University in Arkhangelsk.
